DNA Acupuncture by Avery

Every once in a while you chance upon a meeting of passionate and loving healers who thrive on improving quality of life. Avery has devoted her life to learning how to help and heal the largest variety of disease and disharmonies that show up as pain, stress, insomnia, eating disorders, psychological disorders and many more.

One note about what you can expect from Chinese medicine and pain management:

Depending on the severity of your condition, and how long you have had it, it can take several treatments to see a change. One of the main factors that contribute to rehabilitation is the frequency of your treatments. Weekly or biweekly may be necessary to change the default that your body has chosen (i.e. your painful, inflammatory condition). Many times people exhaust all other options and come to us to avoid surgery or once their physicians say they cannot help any more. In these cases it is important to be able to commit to a treatment regimen that may take several treatments a week or even weekly for several months. If you get hurt, get acupuncture right away and the healing capabilities will truly astound you!

Some of these stubborn conditions include:

  • arthritis
  • sciatica
  • carpal tunnel
  • bulging vertebral disks
  • neuropathy from diabetes or otherwise
  • diabetes
  • chronic pain that has been going on for several years
  • multiple sclerosis
  • seizures
  • stroke
  • Bell’s Palsy
  • fibromyalgia

There are some conditions that can receive benefit from acupuncture, but due to the physical nature, ongoing treatments to manage pain may be more realistic than 100% recovery. These types of conditions can include:

  • hemorrhaged vertebral disks
  • vertebral stenosis
  • seizures
  • nerve damage (yes! acupuncture CAN help!)
  • joints without cartilage
